Waves, 2021
In 2021, popular alternative artist Felly (Christian Felner) contacted me about the prospect of producing a documentary detailing the creation and release of his sequel album Young Fel 2 under 300 Entertainment.
Over the course of 4 months Felner and I conducted several remote interviews, combed through several terabytes of footage, and overcame endless obstacles to produce a 12-minute short film. In all, I was in charge of shot selection, sequencing and narrative structuring, sound design, and color. This was my first experience in top-to-bottom content creation and was given an immense amount of creative license to exercise as I saw fit. This was also my first experience working with record label executives and coordinating with an artist's team to produce content.
"Waves" debuted in December of 2021 in Venice Beach, CA. With roughly 70 in attendance, this was a tremendous first endeavor into the short film format for myself. With over 33,000 views on YouTube and 10,000 views on Instagram, "Waves" was a massive success for Felly and I both.

Utilizing found footage assets, I created a 1-minute short film. Each of the 1,000+ frames were treated individually in Photoshop and sequenced in Premiere. Sound design was completed in Audition.
